Results of Joint Research on Drug Development with Nanjing Medical University Published in a Leading International Journal
OCIUM Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Katsuhisa Horimoto) and the Nanjing Medical University College of Pharmacy(https://english.njmu.edu.cn/) published the results of their joint research in the European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry [IF7.3] on April 6 (https://doi.org/10. 1016/j.ejmech.2025.117597).
The study was led by Professor Dongyin Chen of the School of Pharmacy at Nanjing Medical University, and the paper reports the discovery of a promising drug candidate for Parkinson’s disease (PD) complicated by depression.
The synergistic effect of the collaboration between our drug repositioning platform and the compound synthesis and expansion technology of Nanjing Medical University has accelerated the discovery and development of drug seeds for various diseases.
